Dolpo is vast and large geographic region in North Western Nepal, is the next calling destination for adventure holidays in Nepal. Trekking in Dolpo has many itineraries to choose on the basis of your time and budget. In this blog, I am going to give you a details about 'Treks of Dolpo'.
Dolpo is located in the North Western Nepal, it is connected with many different regions, it bordering with Mustang to the east, Rukum/Dhorpatan to the west, Tibet/Mugu to the North and Jumla to the South. As it bordering with these region, Dolp has many trekking trails. Some treks of dolpo, can be done within the Dolpo, and some treks of dolpo traversing trek. Moreover, Dolpo region itself have two regions that is Lower Dolpo and Upper Dolpo. Trekking in lower Dolpo you can do with without entering in Upper Dolpo region and you can do with Lower Dolpo trekking permit, but while doing Upper Dolpo treks you have to enter and exit from lower Dolpo and in that case you need two (Lower and Upper Dolpo) trekking permits.
Treks of Dolpo has three options which are;
1. Upper Dolpo Treks/ Upper Dolpo trekking
2. Lower Dolpo Treks/ Lower Dolpo trekking
3. Dolpo traverse treks
Upper Dolpo Treks/ Upper Dolpo trekking

Dolpo traverse treks
This is the list has three features such as; (1) Starts from Dolpo and end to another region, (2)Starts from another region and ends to Dolpo and (3) Starts from another region and ends to another region but trek traverse through Dolpo ( either Lower Dolpo or Upper Dolpo).
