Overview

Snow Leopard Trek in Dolpo is an extraordinary wildlife treks in Dolpo Nepal, which takes you in the country of Snow leopard. This trek is specially designed for Himalayan wildlife seekers & researchers and the trail passes through the snow leopard habitats, deep gorges and rocky trails with prospect of tracing snow leopard foot prints and chance to see snow leopard with naked eye. Snow Leopard is an elusive Himalayan Big cat, we just follow their foot prints and try to find them but there is not guaranteed to see.

Snow Leopard trek in Dolpo starts a descent mountain flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and to Juphal airport and descend down to Thuli Bheri River and to Rupagad. Next to Rupagad we enter to Shey Phoksundo National Park and trail continue along the Phoksundo River and lush vegetation of park up to Phoksundo Lake. Beyond the Phoksundo Lake we come across the Phoksundo north Bank to Perikapuwa, where we trace the foot prints of snow leopard all the way to Fulbari, Tsakang Gompa, Gomache cave area and to Shey gompa. From Shey the trail tread through Singh Thupra Dovan and Tokyu and Dho Tarap. The last part of tracing approaches to Mirbu valley and Gyaekochen valley and we terminate trek in to Juphal.
