Overview

Mane Rimdu Festival trek is a great opportunity to witness Mane Rimdu festival in the high Himalaya, especially in Khumbu region.  Mane Rimdu is the great festival that is celebrated in communal monasteries such as; Tengboche monastery, Thame monastery and Chiwong Monasteries of Solukhumbu. Normally, Mane Rimdu festival celebrate on October to November full moon day. It is Buddhist sacred ceremony in monastic environment, which is consists of nineteen days event with empowerment, meditation and dance. The public celebration lasting for three days before concludes ceremony.
