From the Phoksundo Lake setting two camps along the Phoksundo River and lush vegetation of Shey Phoksundo National park the trek ends at Juphal.
Lower Dolpo Exploring Trek
The Lower Dolpo Exploring Trek begins scenic flights to Juphal airstrip from Nepalgunj, then trail descends down to the West Juphal along the Khasan area Tripurakot, Khaliban, and Kaigaon. Beyond the Kaigain the trek heads to beautiful and stunning Lake Phoksundo bypassing first pass Kagmara Pass 5115m. From Phoksundo Lake the route follows the Lower Dolpo Circuit Trek route up to Dho Tarap in reverse by passing Bagala 5269m and Numala 5309m pass.
