Humla wildlife trek is a unique adventure wildlife treks in Humla region of Nepal. Humla Wildlife trek take you in the wild valleys of Upper Humla areas such as Chuwa Khola, Nying Valley, Limi valley. Lapsa and near the Chinese border. In this trek we follow and trace the footprints of wildlives and try to eye catch them. This trek is specially designed to those who loves to trek in wild and thrust of Himalayan wildlife.
In this wildlife trek, we rolling in to the Trans-Himalayan landscape of Tibetan Plateau in Humla above the 5000m. These areas are home to high-altitude mammals and diversa flora. The area does not contain permanent human settlement but receives nomadic herders in the summer. These wild and high valleys of Humla is home to Himalayan mammals such as wolves, wild yak, Argali, Snow Leopard, wild horse(kiyang) and high altitude birds.
Humla Wildlife trek starts and ends in Simikot. From Simikot, the trail follows the northern trail following lower part of the Chuwa Khola valley Thehe, Dojam village. Spending one night at Dojam village, and trail heads to the north of Dojam. Dojam is going to be the last village before Limi valley, about a week more later. Beyond Dojam, the trail ahead follows the Chuwa Khola valley up to the Karching Kharka.From Kharching Kharka we follow the Nying Khola valley upto the foothill of Chandi Himal and Changwathan and we join to Chyakpolung Khola and descent to Limi Valley. At the end passing Nyalu pass 5001m we exit from Simikot.
