Bardiya National Park is located in the far west lowland Terai region of Nepal. In 1976 the park was first granted as the Royal Karnali Wildlife Reserve with an area of only 368 square km and later on Babai River Valley was included on it in 1982. Bardiya National park retains the wide range of vegetation types in forest and grassland which provides excellent habitat for 642 faunal species. In addition, it also home several species of mammals, birds, and reptiles.

Day 1:

Fly to Nepalgunj and drive to Bardia National Park

Morning fly to Nepalgunj (1hr). Transfer to the resort of Bardia National Park, refreshing, briefing about the program and provide the lunch. Cultural tour, visit Tharu village and park visitor center, sunset view from the river bank, dinner and slide show presentation regarding flora and fauna.

Day 2:

Full day Bardiya jungle activities in Bardiya National Park

After breakfast, start activities covering Nature walk/ jungle walk, jeep safari for about an hour and drive back to resort for lunch, encountering wildlife on elephant back safari and jeep safari in the afternoon. Dinner and Tharu cultural dance show in the evening.

Day 3:

Full day jungle activities including Bardiya Jungle Safari

In the morning, go for a jungle walk and bird-watching. After breakfast, an interesting feature activities is the elephant safari jungle excursion tour into the deep & dense jungle to explore better chance of seeing wild animals, In the evening, watch the cultural program and Western Nepal Tharu dance organized by the villagers.

Day 4:

Drive to Nepalgunj and fly to Kathmandu

After breakfast with beautiful sunrise. Transfer to the Nepalgunj Airport for the flight to Kathmandu. Up on arrival in Kathmandu airport, transfer to the hotel and enjoy as leisure in the evening.
